For a long time i have actually wanted to play ps2 game using my pc, until lately that i found out that this is a very easy stuff.
all you have to do is to own a system which specification should be

1. it must be a p4 system with speed of at least 1.5GHz
2. the video memory must be at least 16MB for those that want to play ps1 and 128MB for ps2 players/
3. the ram memory should be 128MB For ps 1 players and 512 for ps2 player.
4. the video card should support pixel shader 2.0 or more for ps 2.

if you system meets all these requirement then all you have todo is to mail me on osadolorkestine@yahoo.com. so i can send you all the necessary file you system need to be able to run playstation cds on your computer

bro i have been into game console for ages, i hack ps2, psp and custom firmware for psp, emulators for ps2 dont work on pc,

Don't be a silly bore. there's no PS3 emulator, there's NO ONE working on one and PS3 emulation is frankly impossible on our current crop of PC hardware. No x86 CPU can attempt to emulate the cell processor just yet.
The entire PS3 Scene is currently focused on enabling access to the GPU in linux mode and a possible ISO loader.

i find you to be a very stupid person to insinuate you're 'working on' a PS3 Emulator. That laughable claim aside, i sincerely doubt you belong to any Scene whatsoever, talkless of the PS3 scene.

You made me laugh, however, when you confidently state that a dual-core processor has 4 processors. I guess you do not know the difference between dual and quad, eh?

na wa o. i've had both ps1 and ps2 emulator on my pc as far back as 2004. i didn't even have as much specifications as mentioned here or maybe i didn't know about it then. has anyone heard about bleem thats the emulator i used to use and i enjoyed it. i also know of one that u won't need to use the disc after first play and save. i'll check exp it and post the name later. note u must have a dvd player to be able to play ps2.

and for ps3 we all are so sure there is nothing like that yet, the poster is just looking for some cheap fame. and moreover why should someone mail u before u can give out information, probably u looking for friends or u want to get ur inbox filled up', i'm sure it must be really lonely being u,

see pizzazox or what is your name all you need to do to retify your problem is to upgrade your video card, it must support a pixel shading of at least 2.0, i am sure that's the reason why you cant play the game presently

Don't be stupid they are blue-ray as for PS2 and PS1 and even the VERY old PSX games can be played on a i think any 52X DVD-ROM just google the drivers.

As for the PS2 emulator, there has been a workable one since the late 2004 but the system requirements are quite high. I remember 2003 when i was using CVGs to play final fantasy 9 on my Celeron 300Mhz 64Mb ram PC. And now with the right custom firmware for the PSP, you can convert ur PSX Isos to Eboots that run on the PSP

Theres no such thing as a PS3 emulator, currently got PS1, 2, gameboy, SNES, NINTENDO64, but definitely not a PS3.

Firstly, to get the emulators to work ensure you got the appropriate bios , video and sound plugins, before you can get it to work.

Secondly, to get the best performance, don't try to play the games from the CD/DVDs, first rip it out into an ISO file, then play the ISO file, and not the life disc.
