There are different versions of Oracle 10g. You are most likely using version 10g release 1, this is why it isn't working. Try using 10g release 2 or upgrade to Oracle 11g. I hope this helps... |

you can install 11g instead.and if what u realy need is the 10g,then i will advise u to create another partition on ur hard disk and install linux on it so that you can install oracle 10g on the linux os.believe me,oracle on linux is the IN THING now.if you dont want to do all these,then look for oracle 11g and install on ur windows platform.but believe me,you av not started ur journey in Oracle if u av not moved into Linux or solaris platform.gud luck bro 1 Like |
