The creation of Anioma state or any other state will increase government costs. The Nigerian government already has too many ministers, senators, representatives, etc. Anioma will need a governor, deputy governor, senators, commissioners, advisors, assistants... the list goes on. You trust Nigerians to enter government and perform good deeds right? Do not be fooled.

We have too many states as is. Haggling for more states is befriending regression. We already have 36 states that aren't properly maintained. If Nigeria wants viable states, then states need to be combined, government size needs to decrease, and politicians need to do what they were sent to do.

Nigeria is like a bad mother. A bad mother has children who are ill-mannered, lazy, disrespectful. She's disappointed and wants to have another child, hoping that that child would be an angel. It doesn't work that way.

What make you think, if Anioma state were to be created tomorow, that it will join the SE. Aniomas have made it clear that they are not igbos. I advise you people to create anothe SE state from the existing ones, in order to avoid being betrayed. Cos even if Anioma state was eventualy created with Igbo support, they will never join the SE.

In the end balancing the number of state in the SE is also quite important because of it ramifications in geopolitics. South Easterners are well advised to look beyond their nostril is kicking against Anioma Stamp creation. The merit far outweighs the demerit. Personally, I care less which Zone Anioma is placed, I am more concerned at the moment about it's creation.

We seriously need this anioma state before these people become bini people,or atleast do a boundary readjustment to unite them with ika in delta north. They are just too many to let go just like that.
