kandiikane: Omg!!! I haven't had kaaba(the fruit) in ageeees! Since 2010 I believe.

As theindella said, we also put maggi' pepper, sugar, depends on how you want it really.

Lol' I remember in primary school when my mates will beg me I ill take some suck it, spit it back in and mix it so they won't beg me.
Theindella, do you know that fruit called netteh and they use the nettetu(the seed of the nette?) to make mbaxal? I'm not sure if it's the actually netteh they use to make the nettetu.
The nette is like a long stick with the yellow edible bits inside.
LOOOL I did the same,
Yeah this fruit

They call it "ul" in wolof it what's used to make netetu , the fermented seeds grin grin.It reminds me of primary school . Dou you know this one ?

Yeeees, that's the fruit!

Yeah it's ditah, ditah juice is the best on earth, and this, what about these cherries? we call them "cerises" in senegal , they sold a "confit" of this with sugar salt and pepper in front of my school. it was delicious
Re: Somali Food! by kandiikane(m): 2:19am On Sep 22, 2012
Ohhhhh I remember these. Mehn, it's been ages since I've had them, like 7years forgot the name(in Gambia). I think I remember the taste. It's sour isn't it?
