3. His novels have outsold those of Stephen King, John Grisham and Dan Brown combined

NOVEL
1. A thriller
2. Eighty percent of the book contains Nigerian settings
3. Professor Wole Soyinka was discussed therein
4. The Redeemed Church of Christ, Third Mainland Bridge were mentioned
5. Names like Adanne, Uchenna, Nkiru, Abidemi Sowande are fictitiously used.
6. Adaptation of the novel: T'agba ba nde, a a ye ogun ja.

well, you guys are impressive o. Here goes:

...his first bestselling autobiography was set in Ireland, the second one in america. He grew up in such poverty that he almost lost his sight from poor nutrition, was a high school teacher all his working life.

P.S. the first autobiography is my best ever book, and it was made into a movie, one that I didn't especially care for. tongue

Mmm. Nawa o. So Patterson has a book set in Nigeria? Interesting...

Ok, so i looked up the wikipedia summary of the book, lol, mehn i almost passed out laughing.

Look, no offence meant, aiit? But seriously, these writers might wana visit places they wana write about before actually doing the writing. I mean, didnt ANYBODY bother to tell Mr. Patterson that WHITE men are above the law in Nigeria?? The idea of some semi-illiterate mopol officers actually arresting a white guy on some trumped up charges, and actually beating him up in the cell is so so ludicrous! Mmofo beat up a WHITE MAN?? Chineke!! The rest of us don die finish be dat na, lmao!!

Wow. You shoulda included he won a Pulitzer. This book was given to me by someone I was in love with at the time so I was bound to love it. But then after reading it, I was completely blown away. There's no humour like Irish humour.

The book is definitely Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. I'm so stoked that someone else loves this book as much as I.

LOOOOOOOOl. But his readers won't know anything. Funny, I was thinking yesterday while walking home from a satisfying meal if Ludlum has actually visited all the cities he writes about or he just bullshits us. Cuz I'm always trying to be accurate with my writing. I'll be relieved if it's all bullshit.
