South Africa More Likely To Occupy Permanent Seat In The UN Security Council. by Msauza(m): 9:23pm On Sep 25, 2012
This came after analysts favoured South Africa as the favourite among the IBSA, that is, India, Brazil and South Africa to occupy permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council. SA is the only country in Africa that seem to have stable democracy and the only diversified nation across the continent. Thus, South Africa is no different to all the countries that have permanent seats in UNSC because of its experience to deal with people of different cultures, religions and nations. South Africa is no different to the United Kingdom and United states of America in terms of its composition.

I knw SA have a chance bt it is obvious that the wont get there! I knw the SA has the capability bt ur criteria for analysis is wrong. SA dnt have any influence in africa except southern region(zimbabwe to pe precise) and the dnt have support from the permanent Security members. China and its allies how supported Nigeria aspiration as a permanent member because of the political influence of Nigeria in africa, the whole of west africa, parts of sub saharan africa. Nigerias military exploit streching from cotè d'ivoire, liberia, serria leone, darfur, etc and partically nigerian tendencies to be at helm of affairs in when there is crisis is sub saharan africa.
