With the launch of Mobile Money Transfer in Nigeria recently, the question of how this will affect e-commerce and the culture of carrying cash has come up.

Consider these;

Over 80 million Nigerians are active mobile phone users
Nigerians send money across to relatives and loved ones from one part of the country to another
There are people who wish to do business with you but can't send payment across to you because of lack of electronic payment system!
