Do they think we are stupid?

Here are a few examples of emails (scams)

This is to inform you that a paiment of 9.5 Million Dollars has been aproved by the United Nation Homeland Security departement this morning. Please contacte me immediately to transfer the money to you.

Reply: Sure, and the United Nations can't even spell correctly?

My name is Irma. My mind is filled with thoughts of you. My heart is full of love for you. I want you to know how much I truly care for you. PLEASE call me!

Reply: Very nice, but I don't know any Irma!

You have won 1,5 Million Euros in the Super Lotto Online Sweepstakes Promotion. You do not have to purchase a ticket. Your award information was released in Brussels and your reference number is: BE775068115. Please contact us immediately.

Reply: Thank you, but I am not stupid!

"You are the only heir from a man who unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago. He left all the money to you 17 million dollars. Please immediately get back to me with information where we can wire the money."

Reply: Ha ha! And do you really expect me to believe this?

Ignoring these people won't stop them, lets try and give them funny but stupid replies.. may be that will change their heart.
And I can't imagine that anyone falls for such obvious scams but these emails keep coming and coming so there must be people out there who excuse our expression are stupid?

These are extreme examples, of course, but in our everyday life we have to remember that the most important words to read are the ones between the lines.
