The Vice-Presidential debates between incumbent Joe Biden of the Democratic Party and Paul Ryan of the Republican party (GOP) is underway, they would be drilled on foreign policy and other core issues that affect the United States.

Joe won hands down. Ryan is more hypocritical than Romney. At least Romney's hypocrisy is by mouth. I've been saying since forever that Ryan demanded for stimulus funds twice, so I was jumping when Joe and Martha got him to confess it on national tv yet again. And then for him to say "oh heavens, yes!" to the question, "should the US apologize for the Quran burnings?" was hilarious, considering that Mitt Romney has a book entitled No Apologies, in reference to the stance the US should take on foreign policy. I do not blame Joe "Biceps" for laughing at that pigeon-eyed dehydrated clown. #TeamObama

Wow, the CNN viewers are real Ryan fans. Anyway, I thought Joe Biden did a good job in calling out Paul Ryan's flip-flops, especially on the stimulus issue. But Biden shouldn't have interrupted Ryan as much as he did tonight. It seemed arrogant and condescending.

By the way, I've already voted for Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate. Both Romney and Obama are in favor of policies that ensure the dominance of the banking industry in economic policy.

Well, I liked Biden's antics. After hearing the two of them bark the most conservative nonsense for months, they're trying to look like moderates. Mind you, that's the same title Romney has been running from since the republican primaries.

That was a real slap in the face I just couldn't stop laughing for like a whole minute as Ryan sat sheepishly in the corner. Men, that was bad. If Biden had done the debate for Obama perhaps Romney would still be trailing far behind.

Biden was in full attack mode last nite. Firing on all cylinders. Methinks his response to the abortion question,reconciling his Catholic beliefs with his pro choice stance was simply superb. Ryan getting gulping glasses of water for succour.
Lesson for Obama

Biden's performance today shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone. Generally the vice presidential debates are supposed be more forceful and energetic than the presidential. Interruptions, name-calling, even outright insults are not unusual during such debates, check history.

We didn't get to see the true Biden at the last debate with Sarah Palin because he had to take it easy with her. If you notice all the heat was directed at McCain and scarcely at Palin herself, and its easy to see why.

Today however was a different ballgame; Ryan is a lot more experienced than Palin - and a male. Biden had nothing to lose. He had to go straight for the jugular, and he did.

Ahhh Ron Paul. The best president America never had. That is a man who actually HAS principles and would actually take America on a DIFFERENT course. Democracy in certain countries like Britain and America tend to throw up candidates that are TOO ALIKE in policies and proposed direction. It is a stain on the republican party that for ALL the times Ron Paul has come out he has been treated APPALINGLY by the party as the old crazy Uncle that talks rubbish. In all honesty, NO presidential aspirant has ever made MORE SENSE than Ron Paul, just listen to him speak. AND he has been CONSISTENT for the past like three of four decades. Ron Paul is a man I have great respect for.

Biden clearly won and I am surprised that CNN polls suggested that it was a stalemate. But we all agree that Obama couldnt have used the same tactics Biden used during his first debate i.e grinning, smirking, interupting... So it was right that he remained polite and took all the fire. Watch out for round 2.

That was the sole redeeming quality of Biden to be frank, that after Ryan would put out seemingly polished arguments, Biden would come back to deconstruct them based on evidence (for most but not all of the time). And let us be honest, none of us could fact check positions of either candidates as they carried on LIVE during the debate. And to be honest, I am not a fan of the current political process. I am not a fan of a process that encourages one liners and snappy retorts at the expense of an HONEST and perhaps UNREHEARSED debate. It is the reason why politicians are so hard to trust. And there is definitely too much money in American politics. Heck in the UK political parties are not even allowed to campaign on TV. But all you see in American politics is division, and shoddy campaigning that leaves voters still uninformed and puts sound argument and discourse in the background. You saw what happened when Obama seemed to try to bring a genuine discourse and debate to the process. He was deemed as failing because Americans want the glitz and chair throwing and dirt of it all, and YET also complain about how poor and dirty the process is. They have what they want without knowing it - and at the expense of their 'democracy'.

Biden wanted to use laughter as disdain tactics to bully Ryan, but he did it continuously till it became offensive to many people. They saw it as unserious and condecending. Ryan was young and simple but very articulate. He was nervous too. But he had real appeal. Biden wanted to do the Romney thing but he fluffed it. Democrats loved it but independents didnt like it. The democrats have to be careful because the independents determine most elections. Most of the counters by Biden was also false. He said a a lot of false facts.

The key to winning dabates is moderation. A little bit of everything is ok. But leaning too much to one directiono style is bad way to debate. Romney attacked Obama but was not disrespectful. Biden was. He interrupted Ryan over 20 times and kept laughing as if he was mocking him. It didnt sit well with many voters except democrats of course. Even Piers Morgan believed Biden won but acknowledged that the smirking was wrong and said he believed people didnt like it.

Follow the trend online. There has been a lot of fact checking since the debate. Ryan was mostly correct. Biden was mostly wrong. But he was a better debater than Ryan. The laughing thing spoilt his dominance
