I'm in trouble from a few days my little angel bob insist to sleep with pet,actually I have a puppy name zenny and zenny became toy for him whether day or night zenny became his life and its seems to me impossible to split both of them as zenny has the same reactions.what I do?Some advices highly appreciated.pet drugstore uk

It's best you get that animal away from him no matter how cute it is. Children can't always have their way...try seeing a child specialist they'll help with minimum damage to ur bobs' psyche

a dog should sleep in its place, and NOT in a child's bed. let that child cry a river, and if that dog barks even once do what you gotta do to shut it up!

@Op, lol...I don't think u should worry about it too much. My DD has a little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that follows her everywhere in the house. They are inseparable and it sleeps in the bed with her. If the dog is clean, up to date with its vaccines it shouldn't be a problem. It's very common for children to get attached to pets and can help children develop compassion and learn responsibility. If you are adamantly that you don't want them sharing a bed, as other have said you are the adult and set the limits. You may try getting your child a stuffed animal that looks like the dog to sleep with. You can also wean him/her off of sleeping with the dog by having special "sleep with Zenny" days. You may want to crate the dog and let it have one of your child's old tee shirts. Most people I know treat their pets like family so this isn't strange behavior.
