Good day N-Landers, Please, I need professional advice from gurus in the house. I want to buy my first car and I am considering these cars: -Toyota RAV4 2004 or 2005 Model -Honda CRV 2003 or 2004 or 2005 Model -Toyota Highlander 2005. I need something elegant,fuel economical and rugged because of my kind of job(always on the move) Please can someone advise me on the best amongst them in respect of what I want. Highlander is d most luxurious and most expensive Rav has d best mpg CRV is a blend of d two there4 sits in d middle. |

All 3 are car-based crossovers. The highlander, which is loosely based on the camry is the best of the bunch,just avoid the FWD variants, they are just wagons with high ground clearance. |

The Toyota Highlander is a better all-rounder, and would be my choice. |

CRV, Rav4, Highlander... Hmmmmmmm *Pushing up my glasses* I would recomend Toyota's Highlander because compared to the other two SUV's, its a combo of Luxury, Fuel efficiency, Engine-Power and Terrain performance(well, in terms of Ruggedness, but applies to only 4WD Highlander editions-cuz to me the front wheel drive Highlander is a glorified Camry). but the Rav4 is the most fuel efficient suv in the group, however it falls short in Luxury and has the smallest engine power output compared to the other two, but is def rugged and CHEAPEST. Weeeell the CRV's got Luxury, average fuel consumption, average power, average price but has got great handling... My advice, get the Highlander-period. |

optimus-prime1: Fuel economy and SUV should not be used together in a sentence, also Highlander and Luxury is not appropriate. Since you are stuck with Honda and Toyota, get the Highlander, leave the others to the ladies  |
