I am glad to inform u guys that I passed the November 2007 ICAN PE 2 examinations. I sat for 2 references in Financial Accounting 2 (FA 2) and Management Accounting (MA). ICAN served into hands and God really favoured me as well.

I cant help but to continue in tears of joy when I saw the result yesterday.I am grateful to God for the various discussions on this site on ICAN exams.

I will begin my ICAN PE 3 (final stage) lectures at WYSE ASSOCIATES 2moro Saturday 260108;please, can someone advise me candidly on how I can deal a DEATH BLOW to this final stage.

IT IS A GREAT DESIRE IN MY HEART TO QUALIFY AS A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT AFTER I AV WRITTEN THE EXAMS IN MAY 2008 DIET BY JULY 2008 WHEN THE RESULT IS RELEASED.

1. How can I win a prize in Financial Reporting and Audit Practise (FRAP)?

2. How can I win a prize in Multidisciplinary Case Studies (MDCS) ?

3. How can I win a prize in Taxation ?

4. How can I win a prize in Strategic Financial Management (SFM) ?

Please, all my senior colleagues and solid lecturers in the house should advise me on the things I can do to give ICAN a piece of mind this May 2008 Diet.

Hhey, congrats , im sooo happy for you, as i am for myself. i just passed my last PE III hurdle (SFM) on Thursday also. No more ICAN last nights for me again.

the thing is this, do not be overly confident, and learn a lot abot everything and everything about a lot.

I passed my peII AT A SITTING in nov'06. I passed my pe III AT A SITTING in nov'07. ICAN is easy. All u need to do is make sacrifices. Go the extra mile. practically destroy ur books with reading. Do not just cram anything u dont understand thoroughly,instead, try to understand it by all means. Also I want u to have this mindset from now till u pass the exam. to show them that u thouroughly understand the principles", that is what they want frm u. I did not go thru ATS, I went thru exemption (like u did )yet I never failed a paper. It is b'cos I was able to show them that I understand the concepts being tested. ABOVE ALL, PRAY FOR GOD'S FAVOUR.

kallmebola, I am so happy to knw u are also a wyse student. It may interest u 2 know that this is my first experience as a student in wyse - I mean PE 3 will b my first and last ICAN lecture @ wyse. As 4 FA2, I av gist 4 u; lay ur hands on the following:

1. ICAN FA2 STUDY PACK (FOR KNOWLEDGE)
2. WYSE FA2 STUDY KIT (4 SINCERE PRACTICE)
3. ICAN PILOT (TAKE NOTE OF THE QUESTN STYLES)
4. ICAN PATHFINDER (MIN. OF 1O DIET IS OKAY)*

*Take note of the Examiner's comment; they culd b very helpful. If u dnt mind, u can make jottings of all the answers the theoretical questions - they will b very useful QUICK REVISION TOOLS days and hours b4 the FA2 paper for May 2008 Diet.

Draw a target in ur mind to score a min. of 8/9 marks in the OBJ and a min. of 20/24 in d SHORT ANSWERS not to talk of the optional questns (4 out of 6 ) where u will av the opportunity to display the knowledge u av acquired in the use of ICAN pack (including the glossaries) and the practice kits - wyse kit, pilot and pathfinder. U really dnt av any excuse y u must not deal a DEATH BLOW to FA 2 dis Diet.

Gettolove, I am impressed. Tell me; how do u mean by d circumstances that surrounded ur preparation for last Diet even when ur frnds that had all d time only passed one paper.

I am a very busy person as well. I will appreciate it if u can giv me tips on how I can fly high dis May 2008 Diet irrespective of 'little or no time'. Remember, it is not so much of HAVING ALL D TIME, but what I do with d time I av.

Stop making excuse, you had the same 24 hours a day they have, no matter how busy or occupied u are, you will pass all if you had read well even with 1 hour a day.  as u said they still failed even with all the time at their disposal.  so its not a function of time, but how prepared u are.  You had a reference simple
