She is 24, she has an N.C.E, presently in her 200 level in the university.
She has been dating this guy for close to two years now, of which you are
fully aware. He wants to get married to her now,and she is also more than willing
to marry him. He has taken her home to his parents and they have accepted.
But your parents, especially your dad, insists that she should be through with
her program first.
she runs to you for advice and action, cos as the first son or daughter,
your decision and action holds water.
what advice would you give?

I fully agree with Klan, education first and marriage afterwards.

What's the point of rushing the marriage? She better sit up and finish her degree and get correct job or better still go for her masters. If the guy is really interested in her development, he wud support her education. The greatest regret she may end up having in life is marrying this dude without a degree. Wetin be NCE? Nonsense!

Erm, excuse me, but getting married doesn't mean stopping your education. Let her get married and she'll continue with her studies. It's when people have to wait for ages before getting married that they get tempted to commit pre-marital sex. Is 24 too young? Hell, no! Better let her get married and reduce any chance of sinful relationships.

This is an easy answer to your question/advice, please there is no hurry in life. Afterall, she is in 200 level and in the next two years, she will be through with her University education. Truly, 24 months will soon be over. BE PATIENT!!!
