* i'm ashamed dat I used to believe that women were worth half of men, dat a woman deserves to get half of what a man gets
*I'm ashamed dat i believed homosexuals are evil
*i'm ashamed dat I tried to justify the death penalty for apostasy in my mind.

I'm ashamed that I thought my religion was the one True Religion and that all others were mythology. When in fact if you place them side by side they are all equally myths.

I'm ashamed that I believed in the miracles described by holy books when in fact I was not there and did not see them.

I'm ashamed that I believed in a God who is really quite evil, if you look at his behavior in the Bible (and Quran, though I'm not a former Muslim).

I'm ashamed of you.

Not ashamed of anything. In fact, much grateful for the experience.

I learnt to work among different types and classes of nigerian christians within Nigeria. I was exposed to the hypocrisy that exists within the system.

So when I attack Xtianity on NL, I do so with first hand experience.

I've met people who fear anyone who bears 'pastor'... Most Nigerians seek solutions to ALL problems from their pastors, be it marriage, education, health etc.. And where these men are incapable of providing a solution, they resort to deliverance, fasting, prayer and other unnecessary rituals...

Nigerians have to understand that most of our problems are more manmade than spiritual, that neither the Bible nor the Holy Spirit should negate common sense and reason..

Christians should be ashamed that a ''crazy man'' is their sole defender.
Anyway this is the usual case.

Apart from being ashamed of most of the things u mentioned,
I'm ashamed that I used to believe in all those spirit husband, sprit grandmother trash;
I'm ashamed that I used to believe dreams were spritual;
I'm ashamed I used to believe u could get initiated through food, even in your dreams;
I'm ashamed I used to believe that no other kind of song must be listened to except it was strictly gospel;
I'm ashamed I used to believe in all those different versions of heaven and hell touring.

Most importantly, I'm ashamed that I once believed in a god who claimed to be love itself yet could condemn people to eternal suffering for not knowing him. I'm ashamed I believed in one who claimed to be so powerful and loving, yet just sits back and watches people suffer even at the hands of his so called followers.

I've never really been religious so I'm just ashamed it took me a while to figure out just how much of a sham it all is. Seriously, I should have figured it out, clearly, long ago. To be fair, it was altruism that led me to seriously question religion, you see how kind your fellow humans can be and you start to wonder what is the sky tyrant's excuse for being such a douche.

I'm ashamed that I really believed that I ate the body and blood of christ at sunday mass

I'm ashmed that I accepted that Jews were god's chosen race as told by the bible when everyone should be equal

aint that ashamed that I worked for Jesus then. Not even ashamed that I studied into the night just to know more of God.

What I am really ashamed of is that I saw myself as a mouthpiece for God. Then I saw myself as the 5th Angel of this time..*covers eyes* soo soo humiliating!
