Why don't you start with an online store? Introduce a Pay on delivery system and market your business on facebook and other social networks. Email me at gidilinks@yahoo.com for details.

Starting a boutique business just for profit will fade out after a while.

You need to first of all have passion for fashion and good dress sense.

It could casual, corporate or traditional wears, kids only or mixed. Safer to start specializing in one area.

Location is also important, the people in your immediate environment can help you decide which area to start from...for example if the people around your location are mostly students, it will be better to start with casual wears first before moving to other categories and you are surrounded by offices start with corporate or mix corporate with smart casual

Asper start up capital, can be as little as what you have depending on your status.

You can start with as low as 10k without a shop provided you can do personal selling from home

Its an interesting business especially for people who love to look good and understand the market dynamics

You can start boutique business with any level of capital starting from 20,000 Naira. This is because there are so many many areas you can specialized in. You can even start with tokumbo undies, handkerchief, etc. All you need is the idea and the need motivation to start this business.
