Umar (radiallahu anhu) is repored to have said to a man who was thinking of divorcing his wife:

“Why do you want to divorce her?”

He said, “I do not love her.”

‘Umar said, “Must every house be built on love? What about loyalty and appreciation?”

It emphasises how much divorce is disliked.

The ayah below should make things clearer insha Allah.

You who believe, it is not lawful for you to inherit women against their will, nor should you treat your wives harshly, hoping to takeback some of the bride-gift you gave them, unless they are guilty of something clearly outrageous. Live with them in accordance with what is fair and kind: if you dislike them, it may well be that you dislike something in which God has put much good. (Surah Nisa:19)

First of All there is no such thing as "love at first sight" rather its "LUST at first sight"(i might be wrong tho), so to me it could mean love between spouses is not a one day thing....you have to let it grow, but before that loyalty and appreciation should be in place...

Well, I wish Islam could have make Talaaq a haram, but who am I challenge the Almighty Allah. Divorce has a psychological effect on someone who is affected by it, my wife is a good example. And the stories she shared with me are truly sad ones. Please, Brothers and sisters in Islam, please let us do more bring down the divorce rate within our society. Although we have the lowest divorce rate and I believe we can do more. Jazakhallahu khairan and Jummah Kareem to you all.

AAWW, talaq is approved to relieve one from an unavoidable situation, after trying many means of avoiding separation hence, Allah will not appotion for you what is beyond your strent inshaAllah.
