DeLaRue: It's my cousin's wedding this Saturday somewhere in the East - Nnewi or somewhere like that.

But I will be making a call within the next few minutes, to apologise that I can't make it.

I just can't.

Virtually, every other member of the family have made one excuse or the other, but when you ask them privately, it all boils down to the fear of kidnapping. Whether that fear is justified or not, that is the perception. And news of one individual ordering the 'kidnap' of others can only reinforce those fears.

It's a shame really, as he's such a close cousin. Luckily, the girl's parents live in Ibadan, so there will be a white wedding in Ibadan in two weeks. By God's grace, we will all troop down for that.
SORRY my brother, why somebody go wan kidnap dead soul like you? Have no fear just make your journey, dem no dey kidnap dead person.

take dat:
He said: “We have concluded all necessary arrangements for successful inauguration of Biafra Republic on November 5.

“The mobilisation of our supporters, including all Igbos had been intensified before this sabotage by the MASSOB leader, who has since abandoned the Biafran agitation and resorted to working with the Nigerian government to subdue Biafra.”(quote)

Na wao, this people don dey give excuse. MASSOB sabotaging BZM, MASSOB betraying the Biafrans by working with the Government to subdue biafra.
I was already planning on rendering assistance to some biafrans to go back to the east. Its a shame that cowardice runs in their blood, the only brave ones are e-warriors.

Good talk bro but please be constructive and don't stereotype..Igbo's are not know to be cowards atleast not in my Owerri..I don't know about the massob and bzm guys lol

Stop blabbing about, we're talking real political struggle and you're here talking rubbish about women fighting in Aswani market? Are your normal at all? It looks like your brain is full of fufu, better go and take your medication if that will help you to think better.
When it comes to real political struggle Yoruba men and women have shown their bravery, the record is there for every one to see. If you want to boast about thuggery and chest beating go ahead useless okoroman.

Let me prove that its half of your brain that is functional.

1) The poster that I replied made a statement that elicited my illustration with rapper tieing women, but your tribalistic brain could not capture that.

2)Which political struggle are you talking about.Show me a political LIBERATION first before showing me a struggle, slow pig!

3)If thuggery is something to boast of,ur late uncle Adedibu still remains the garrison commander,Faseun is the founder and grand patron of OPC congregation of touts.

The proposed declaration of indepence by the BZM is a good intention, but the approach is bad,in my own opinion. There are so many ways they could have achieved this goal:for example, they could have collaborated with others in thesame struggle like the ogoni, etc. Another way,i think, they could have gone about it is by seeking for a regional/zonal autonomy. By that it would be easier to put things in place.

I have so many friendz, ibo friends, who do not subscribe to this struggle;perhaps, they are not conviced enough. It does not look like the struggle is receiving support from some prominent ibos/stakeholders. Good idea can be borrowed from history when general ogukwu declare session. Before he did,so much has been put in place unlike what we have now that really showed nigerian how serious they were.

My suggestion is thus:
1) ensure u have the support of other aggitators and the go ahead of the elders
2) that structures are in place
3)@the Bzm Leader:most importantly, that u have the support of the majority. This is necesari for your leadership to be authentic

How can Yoruba be cowards?
1. We moved the motion Nigeria independence-read yoru histroy book-Enahoro(Edo) and Awolowo ijebu.
2. We are the only region tackling the ruling power since 1960 till today-is there PDP in the SW?
3. We are the only region where the new things are initiated-1st television in Africa, 1st international standard stadium, 1st university, 1st regional university, most industrialized, most sophisticated and advanced, 1st light rail, 1st dedicated BRT lanes, you can never meet us. Otondo.
We always think before we act. If Yoruba decides to leave tomorrow, I can tell you there would be no shedding of blood, just by getting a referendum signed by all stakeholders, but your stupid selfish leaders would waste millions of your men and run to Ivory coast, London, Amaerica, and be shouting Awolowo, Tinubu, Obasanjo, etc from there forgetting about their senselessness. The painful part is you children are not also wise.
Now Yoruba has gone back to Agriculture, building army through native intelligence (OPC), keeping our oil and Bitumen(Ondo,Ogun and Lagos), keeping our gold (Ilesha, etc).
Tomorrow you will start shouting marginalization. Bunch of unwise people, only to blame others for their foolishness.
why did you have to tell all these? these simple things to yorubas are too complex for ibos to comprehend.

I couldn't agree with you more. I myself am proud of what the yoruba states are doing. It gives me joy when i look at Nigerian news and see good things the yoruba leaders are doing. I think its all down to the ways the yorubas bring their kids up to respect and follow the wisdom, diplomacy of the elders.

If other ethnic groups could learn, they will have no reason to want to leave the country because Nigeria is a blessed country and division should be the last thing the country needs. No disrespect to the Igbos, they need to be united and stop speaking with different voices. STOP following the rich men that plan to enslave and manipulate you in the name of Biafra. Learn to chose your leaders wisely.
