That's d case in NIGERIA!!! A colleague of mine was almost killed at Amuwo some years ago. He parked his car on a particular street and decided to take a short-cut thru a bad street. When he got to d short-cut which was very narrow, a woman selling bread also got to dat path. Immediately she saw my friend who was very tall and lanky, she threw away d bread and started running and screaming "THIEF". The guy started smiling and was trying to call her and calm her down. Before u know what was happening, 2 guys came out from no where and descended on him. Infact, na God just save am. Till today he limps like Long John Silver.
If not for another orange seller who saw him when he parked his car that rescued him....

Mr man, I dnt exactly get the point you are trying to pass across here. It looks to me like you are the one thinking with your backside. You just stated the same thing the person u are critisizing stated. Only you made it more explicit. I meann that's the point he was stating. The ineptitude of the policemen is no justification for a crime of this magnitude. If we were to go by the principle of the jungle justice meted out to this robbers, I'm sure you will agree with me that those who spearheaded the act would receive a heavier punishment that the robbers.

The only reason an armed robber is shot in a civil society by a police is for violent resistance of arrest. They don't just pop out a gun and shoot him down just because he is armed. Unless it is proven that he has killed someone, his crime is not even a capital one. The worst he could be handed is a life sentence.

The one with a gun is actually a cultist that followed the 4 boys to go collect their money(they promised to share the money with him). The boys didn't even know that he was with a gun.
