It wont end as long as you have People-Deceiving-People in power. Fuel scarcity is defined as the mechanism to deceive the people that fuel is subsidized and that the price needs to continue to go up.

If they are serious about this whole oil thing, let them stop issing licences and let everyone go and source his own fuel locally or abroad. fuel scarcity will stop and price will drop below N60 per litre.

Nigeria has not been perpetually in Scarcity of fuel, there has been regular full supply for the last 2-3 yrs. The hitches in supply just startd 2-3 months ago cos of a broken pipeline and the refusal or inability of major oil marketers to import fuel cos of bank hesitantion to finance such imports following the arrest and prosecutn of sm marketers. This temporary hitch wud likely pass soon
