I'm with both Okija and Odunnu on this 1. Though both have different approaches to music, most of J Martins songs can b listened to and sang by virtually anyone, anywhere. Buh try singing Flavor's ashawo in a bank, then you'll know how far a la stares that kill. Again J Martins songs TO ME have longer play life than flavor's. So J Martins takes it for me.

How can can say the bold stuff? Bottom Belle that my father used to run things? Pls stick to personal choices n not rewriting history. I like Flavour BTW as I thought J Martins was singing nonsense with his "chop me like biscuit" and "Food sweet buh God sweet pass" lines. Lately though with good exposure, Martins has infused a lot of maturity into his music. I feel his collabos better. The East African touch is evident and I love him for the change. I enjoy Flavour when I drink and wanna rock some Asa buh I listen to J. Martins.

I choose flavour,mostly cos of his stage performances..d guy is a GREAT PERFORMER,i still can't forget his 'ashawo' performance at d channel O awards year..he made Cabo snoop's performance look like shyt..Flavour just adds so much FLAVOUR to his songs,likewise collabos.
