[size=13pt]As Nigerian Youth battle to be the Next MTV Base Nigeria VJ With just over two weeks to go until the auditions of the MTV Base VJ Search - Nigeria, the hunt for MTV Base’s new VJ (TV presenter) is hotting up.

“Aspiring talents have already started sending in their entries via email. To become the next MTV Base VJ, send a brief video clip explaining why you should be the next VJ on MTV Base, or head down to the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search - Nigeria auditions which will take place at Fantasy Land, Lagos on the 1st of December,” Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa, Alex Okosi says.

Banky W (@BankyW) has already signed up as one of the judges for the VJ search, with more judges to be revealed next week. Together, they will be helping identify the brand new VJ who will become one of the key faces of the music network, hosting programmes on MTV Base and on the MTV Base block on STV. The winner will also interview stars, emcee parties and concerts, walk the red carpet at entertainment events and travel all over the continent representing MTV Base. [/size]
