Hello guy, I am a dual citizen on Nigeria and UK. I want my wife to join me here but I'm in a fixed- I just realized she needs to take and pass an approved English test. The problem now is: what tests are available in Nigeria and what where can she register and take such exam? She is a HND holder in statistics. Will that exempt her from the test. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Tell her to try British Council in Nigeria, they run all sorts of recognized English test

If she is applying for a UK spouse Visa and she is a graduate at a Nigerian University (i.e Bsc Holder) then she wouldn't need to do the test of English. She isn't exempt because she isn't a Bsc holder. I applied recently and I didn't do the test of English, I used my Bsc instead. She can do the TOEFL at any of the centers that organise TOEFL and SAT in Nigeria.

I need to help a friends daughter who is resident in Nigeria. Her mother is now a permanent resident and she would like to join her here. I didn't realize they will need a proof of english as she is above 18 years.

Please, where did your wife do her test of english? I stumbled on your post. Can you help??
