Please anyone with idea of masa recipe?

It is that season all over again. So cold and windy bringing back memories of Nigeria Harmattan.
Such memories were the ones of me and other yarinyas eating masa by Uwani's joint grin
Yeah I love masa with that sour miyan, yaji or just plain sugar.

Now it is either I fly to Sokoto/Kaduna/Kantagora or just make me mine and eat by Oyinbo fireplace.
Anyone with recipe for Masa, please share.

2012 shocked Now I'm hungry of masa grin

Thank you Perry2020. I have some questions:

White rice as in chinese white rice?

For number 3, blend till very smooth right?

Please can you add measurement, how many cup of rice and what amount of yeast?

I wish a good cook can open a restaurant named Masa where all types of masa delicacies are prepared.
Masa with spiced beef
Masa. With chicken sauce
Masa with egg sauce
Masa with ketchup seasoning
Masa with fish stew
Etc
Ideas rule the world! wink
Goodluck to the person who will start an African kitchen with masa recipe

Yea U can use Chinese white rice or even normal rice,d idea of white rice is for it to be very white. Hmmmm for measurement at least for first tym trial use a big cup or 2 for d rice. And as for yeast a full spoon will do for 2 cups and a teaspoon will do for a cup.i dunno if I added dat f u knt fry all at a tym u can keep it in a refrigerator or put a little water untop of it,(max 3days so as not to change taste),dnt forget it must be covered coz of d yeast.wen next u wana use it just mix well and add sugar and a little water if it's too thick.Yea blend till very very very smooth.after mixing b4 frying note that it shouldn't be too thick neda should it be watery. Plz don't forget to lemme in on d result wen or if u try it.cheers.
