It depends on how close the friend is and what the persons reason is for not inviting me.

Africans are always good in doing things unconventionally. Is only in Africa you can give someone accidental visit, even come into ones room without knocking. When you go to a welding that you were not invited what are you going there to do? To eat the food you have not ate before or to spend the money you have in excess? Dont be agent of nuisance please.

I would attend the wedding first(but act like just another distant invitee) since I wasn't invited. But at a later date after the wedding, I will vent my anger on my friend and demand an explanation.
REASON; I can always vent my anger or make my grievances known at any time, however, the wedding is a one day affair that can never occur again. NO REPLAY.
What if I don't attend the wedding and at a later date she explains her very plausible and forgivable reasons for not giving me an invite, what then would I do, rewind that day to go and attend the wedding? I sabi vex well well o, but I like erring on the side of caution plus giving people the benefit of doubt.

depends - if the friend involves you in the planning and you don't get an invite, means that they are expecting you there regardless..... if they don't involve you in the planning and don't send you an invite, stay away.

I have had friends that call me everyday to discuss minor details of their weddings, and they don't send an invite. They include and involve me in the planning, they are certainly expecting me there.... not showing up because I didn't get an invite in those instances would be an insult to them. When it comes to true friendship, I believe that there is no need for formality.
