Well, I read a book on Photography yesterday morning, and I can officially say that I'm now a professional photographer. Well, if that's not enough, well, at least I'm a promoter of works by several young Nigerian photographers, and I'll be featuring a lot of their photos in this section, starting with this thread.

So to get started on my new career path, I focused on the music studio.

The first victims of my photography were Oyinkansade of Project Fame, and SMYL, the producer at the studio.

Nice thread boss. I have some questions though:

What does being a professional photographer entail?

Must i know how to use graphical packages(e.g. photoshop) to become a pro?

I know i take some nice photographs(and i invent postures), can i say i'm a talented photographer?

Haterz gone hate.. You should display your own collection of pictures and lets access it. Like the op obviously stated, they are young, up-and-coming photographers. Rome was not built in a day. I believe with time they'll get to be perfect. I'm presently in the university studying a renowned course but my love for photography is undisputable. I also plan to become a professional photographer somedays. It's all about the passion and determination.

Makes me ask questions too. I know very well that I can take shots even better than the above. Does that mean I'll have no hassles if I do decide to venture into pro photography today?

Hehe! I'm only a learner armed with a professional Canon 7D camera. I don't know a thing about Photoshop, and I really would prefer not to Photoshop my pictures.

Well, I'll continue to post photos here as I improve daily.

Thank you all.
