Hey bro help me pls! I downloaded blackberry destop software and have been trying to connect to internet. Each time I try, I see Fail to start mobile internet.

How do I download the blackberry desktop software on my laptop wen there's no internet connection and I can't seem to get the cd around Akure...Pls anyone who can hep pls?

Please, I connected my blackberry to my desktop manager, it connected and the mobile internet connected but now the internet acces on my pc doesn't come on. Is there a setting on my pc that I myt have had wrong?

Click "mobile internet settings"
Set profile to "mobile broadband"
Click ok
Go back to "tools"
Clik "start mobile internet"
You are good to go

I'm using a bold 5 n I tried d steps u highlighted above, but it's still not connecting...... Wat do I do nw?

some devices wont work using Desktop Manager as Modem example: Bold 5 and 2. Curve 3 and Torch 2 are examples of devices that work perfectly.

Hi guys I wanna know if the mtn bis(1000) is unlimited. Cos I av been using it to browse on my laptop via the blackberry desktop manager for almost a week now. And according to wat I av calculated I av used up to 2gb. Cos I use atleast 400mb every day. And its still browsing. Is it unlimited?

Its not unlimited. What you r experiencing is a glitch from mtn. Enjoy while it last!!!

Chikebrain: You could use your MTN BIS to browse unlimited on your PC using a VPN that connects through UDP or ICMP.
