@Waosaa, I have also asked various people to no avail. They seem reluctant to disclose this info so they can charge arbitrarily. Unfortunately, the Nigerian Customs Service is also not forthcoming.

The best answer I've gotten so far is that it costs about 250k (clearing agent fees included). From what I've been able to gather,
it seems there is a flat fee for clearing used cars once it's over a certain mileage (I'm guessing somewhere between 10,000 and 18,000 miles). And ofcourse, the car should not be older than 15 yrs.

Don't let any agent tell you it's according to the vehicle's year of manufacture. That is just a lie they tell so they can rip u off.

Mr. Inspired (inspired_m), you are a moderator of the car section as well as a car importer. Can you please shed some light on the subject?
