Fellow nairalanders...

There is this one of my best friend newly installed as king and I want to visit him in his palace but it's somehow kinda gonna be somehow for me to prostrate when I get there.


If you were in my case,what will you prostrate?

Brother, you'll have to do it for him because it is his time. Your own time would come and you'll need others to respect you. And if he is really a good friend, the moment you start bending he'll ask you never to do it. But if he doesn't and if it means lying flat for him, do it.

No one on earth will ever elevated without the knowledge of Almighty God so go and pay your dues, that does not hinder you to progress, since its our cultural heritage here in Africa to accord due respect to Igwes or Obas

even if the KIng is your worst enemy. you must prostrate.

From my Royal experience,

Immediately u enter his room(King sitting room in the palace) u will head towards his seat ......he would have sighted u from afar or been informed of ur arrival.........

U shall head towards him and prostrate......slowly......slowly...... Don't rush bro.....slowly


If u guys were great before he gat enthroned.......he will ask u 2 stand-up before u lay flat on ur chest.......


Whether he asked u to stand up or not before u got on ur chest for him.......Just prostrate(lay flat on ur chest )for him and look up 2 his eyes from that position........... Humble urself before him by laying flat on ur chest @least for the first-time ......u might not be flat again nexttime bro !!!


Additional information:

Don't worry bro, after ur prostration,u guys shall drink beer together and crack jokes just like d other times.......but let him joke To u while u laff!!!!!!!! Just laff and remind him of the good days!!!!!
