The search for knowledge is something everyone should pursue. It is worthwhile to seek knowledge and like some people say: "Knowledge is power". If you are really sincere about your search then I would encourage you to be very objective if you were an atheist but you say you are a christian and I believe this should make it easier. Cause for Christians the first point of call is FAITH, even before the search for knowledge begins. You are quite a charmer! I hope you aint mad that I choose to believe in God because I am very sure you also believe in our inalienable right to choose what we want. The last time I checked the world was a free place to live, say or do what you want as long as it does not trample on the right of the next man. Your choice of words would suggest that we might have had a quarrel somewhere before. Tolerance is very important! The fact that I don't think or believe what you believe is the beauty of freedom.

Now, coming to some comments you made, I am very sure I did not mention anything like when the world was created.
Secondly, this "piece of crap" made it's way to this public forum in the 21st century because we are in the 21st century where everyone should be free to say their minds: just like someone would come out boldly to say he or she is gay, just like another would choose to say that he is in love with the devil and yet another would choose to say that he does not believe in anything.
Thirdly I really do not know what you call "facts" because even renowned scientists have been quick to agree that there are some events that happen which science does not have an explanation for.
Lastly, I really do not intend to upset you by my beliefs but really its something I can't help, I believe in God, I believe in his son, I believe in his spirit, I believe whatever he chooses to reveal and I can believe in all these because I am in the 21st century.

Hi, in as much as I agree with you that so many people have created their own God, I still believe firmly that there is a God. Simply looking at the designs of a well produced Japanese car would prompt you to think about the maker of such beauty or better still, seeing an object fly in the sky defiling the very law of gravity can't sieze to amaze so many. Or check out the wonders pose to us by our phones. Just dialing a number would get you connected with someone in seconds and in real time. All these are produced by man and are based on some specific law. The guiding principles to making such objects is not made by man. We only borrow from what has been. Now looking at those principles, do u honestly believe that such wonders came from the blues? I don't think so! The universe is too ordered for us to think that it's coming to being was a mere coincidence. If we trace the making of cars from our current time, we would arrive at the first car that was produced. In d same way there is a FIRST CAUSE! Someone who something who caused every other thing to be without it being caused. For our science fellows: take a "body" as an example. A "body" will continue to be in a state of rest until an external force acts on it to make it move. This is one fundamental principles in science. So too it is applicable to humans. There MUST be a first cause that caused all of us or simply put, a force that that set all this in motion. That FORCE is who we call God.
