@Post Most Nigerians are not genuine Christians. I noticed that long ago. I read the bible and my bible tells me that we should love one another as ourselves. If you love your neighbor as yourself, why would you discriminate against someone based on tribe, marital status, class and the likes? Thank God such crap does not seem to happen in the catholic church. Anyways, judgement day will be interesting. Every man for himself before the throne of the Most High Jehovah God. |

gidig: I do not know about any other church but at Covenant Christian centre, there are no special chairs. We all seat on the same types of chairs. If you have an ego problem, it is not the kind of place you want to go. They don't raise any special offering for anything and emphasis is placed on your personal walk with God. I found the place after years of being disgruntled by what the church did to me when i was a young christian and I had my doubts initially because of my very critical nature but its authentic place to worship, if what you are into is purely a relationship with God and not some new age teachings to get rich quick scheme.My fellow C3 member! Let's be objective about this matter,its said children are like arrows that speak for you at the door,the lady felt genuinely slighted,pastor poju did not leave the matter to his followers,he apologized regardless of the true story and bad press,An example of the character of a true humble leader that he is. To all who may read this,I join to make a case for the convenant christian center,where in addition to christian values and Godly character,concepts like hardwork,loyalty(to God, family employers and fellow men)social responsibility,comunity development are taught and held in esteem. This incidence is clearly a misunderstanding blown out of proportion. |

Why does sitting arrange have to disrupt a service. We should all read the whole book of James, the half-brother of Jesus Christ. We are not behaving Christlike in our attitude if this kind of thing is happening in our churches. Our brand of 'Christianity' in Nigeria really needs to be seriously addressed. |
