Greetings!
The purpose for which Our Heavenly Father gave Jesus Christ to the whole world is to come and redeem us and replace Adam to rule this world.
Jesus Christ answered Pilate, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.
The purpose for which Jesus Christ built the Church exemplifies its work he has begun and to be finished.
Upon whom the ends of the ages have come; our work and meat is to do the will of Our Lord Jesus Christ who sent us out, if we say we love Him.
Brethren, the question I have for all of us today, should we together finish the work that our Lord Jesus Christ has given us to do?
What is our work as a Church? What are we to accomplish?
These are the work given to Church to finish.
Firstly, in Matthew 24: 14; Mark 13: 10; says, we are to ANNOUNCE the good news of the coming kingdom of heaven on earth, to the whole world.
Secondly, in Acts 1: 8; John 15: 26-27, says, we are to WITNESS Jesus Christ as the KING for the kingdom, to the whole world.
Thirdly, in Luke 24: 47; Matthew 28: 18-20, says, we are to PREPARE the people to whom God adds to the Church for them to qualify for the kingdom.
This work consists of proclaiming it through Television, Radio, and Newspaper etc.
Financing this work costs money, it is the privilege of all whom believe in Jesus Christ and love him to come and rule this world, to contribute according to how God has blessed us in order to finish this work.
Everything we possess, we possess it by the grace of God. He grants us abilities and capabilities including the capacity to make money.
Everything belongs to God, but He has granted us the privilege of managing them. This privilege does not jeopardize God’s ownership.
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine; says the LORD of hosts.
Our blessing come from God and we should acknowledge this: we should also make sure that we do not fall into the same trap as rich man in Luke 12 who had a great wealth but then decided this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, and be merry, But God said to him, Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided? So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
God promises rewards for our diligence:
In Luke 6: 28, says, Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
