Shock, disbelieve, confusion. I am dumbfounded, so after all the night vigil wey no gree me sleep yesterday in the middle of the week 12:12:12:12:12 was just another day, another hour and another month. Shocking, I was expecting something spectacular, I closed late from work and went to the market just to find out if the price of Garri had changed, imagine my amazement when I found out no such thing happened.

I said okay for sure fuel queues would have disappeared on this "magical date" for where?
I said to myself okay it must be that this is the day looting and public stealing will stop, imagine my shock to find out that a Governors son was caught money laundering on the same magical date.

I convinced myself that okay maybe one of those prayer warriors who worships near my house yet always demands for bribes will change even if it is for today, so I went to ask for some information in His office, I almost fainted when the same person who I am sure was "receiving and covering "himself all night in the church wey no gree me sleep for 12:12:12 still asked for a bribe.

Kai, which kain thing be this na? So the day just came and passed like that, no change, nothing, Nigeria if anything is worse than it was on 11:12:12, hia. Anyway let us wait for the next magic date and send ourselves into another panic mood and see whether na that date our "luck" go change.

Funny you.. Nigerians and their unreasonable superstitions. Its just another normal day. Just an arithmetic coincidence. Even this vigil whey dem du na rabish... Same as this January1 vigil, i agree its a new year, we shld pray and celebrate abit but Nigerians always take things a bit too far
