Ima Okwa Di Nkpa (important Announcement) This Christmas period, as usual, all roads leads to AlaIgbo and Eastern Nigeria for different festivities. It could be Igbankwu, Church wedding, wedding anniversary, it could be community launching, community football competition, traditional wrestling, Mmanwu and Ekpo festival, child dedication, car dedication, commissioning of a new house. Others include, Ikwa Akwa, igo oji, Iri ji, birthday, intoduction of a new wife, book launch, King making, landing a traditional title, Ichi Ezinne, Knightood, etc. Igbo bu Igbo, dee na asusu Igbo. Inwekwara ike dee na asusu bekee. You may write in english language or Igbo language. Ekeresimesi oma (happy christmas). 3 Likes |

You are cordially invited to the wearing cloth ceremony (Iwa Akwa or Iwa ogodo) of Isinweke people mostly Umuihi and Amakohia. Date 3rd and 3 Jan 2013. Venue, Orie Umuihi market square and Nkwo Ihitte market square. You are also invited to a coomunity footbal match final. Venue: Etiti sports complex Isinweke.
