Belive u urself......u can make $4k and above depending on how hard working u're,that the minimum wage is $7 doesnt mean u wld be paid $7,most pay $9.50,10,15&25 per hour.ABS factory cant fully remember pay this in baltimore to cleaners depending on how many sq metre u can work per hour x 5days x 4weeks.....so also if u can work 3partime jobz a day including weekends u wld meet up....it is doable even if u which to go to college to further ur education......it all depends on d lifr u wanna live.this also include night jobz

As i told u earlier,am not in d u.s.a,but i intend going there someday,but i av made a lot of research via goggle,my cousin's etc. Try goggle about pennslyvania,i only av info about baltimore

The well known area over there is Philadelphia which has a very good mix of difference races. the weather is just like New York spring, summer, fall and winter. the summers are very hot and humid and the winters are cold especially if you live close to the water. The most famous food there is the philly cheese steak. if you ever heard philly cheese steak, it came from there.

the shift work usually goes from 8am to 4pm,- 4pm to 12 am,- 12am to 8am. you will either have to work 8 to 4 and 12 to 8 because both your jobs might be 4 miles apart for example and you will need to be on time if not you can be fired. The job that is flexible is usually security because you get to know the people you work with and sometimes you might get a good supv who will allow you to come in late. security job pay ranges from 7.25/hour to about $20.00 an hour. the 20/hour folks usually are the armed security. meaning they have gun license.

Also, working two jobs mean double tax in some cases. At the start of the year when you file your taxes they might even have you pay the irs because of all the money you made.

anyway most of our people who come here start out either doing security, nurses aide, taxi driver, real estate (you must know the owner), gas station attendant etc. People figure out quick that your degree is not accepted and they quickly start going to school. when you finish school then you can apply for other jobs. This is what most people do. some others get lucky to find decent paying jobs and they go from there. Truly things work out faster if you are with your wife or husband because you both know what the goal is and you can pool your income to make awesome things happen.

some companies figured out how to screw their employees by agreeing to pay overtime after an employee has worked 40 hours <--this is how many hours people work per week. after 40 hours overtime is mandatory for shift work. so some employees will have you do double shift and when you hit 40 hours they will tell you to take the rest of the week off this way they wont have to pay overtime.

i hate 9ja gave you some good advice but what you have to be careful about is not falling into the work trap. This happens if you have no one pushing you to go to school or if you have no one to help support you while you want to go to school. You will get to working and you will keep postponing going to school because work would either get comfortable of work will be to tiring.

So make sure you keep your plan. Also, accounting is good to study but you should survey your enviroment to see which feild of employment is booming before you go to school for something that would make it hard for you to find a job after school. Nursing is always booming though hospitals are now hiring nurse practisioners over registered nurses because they save money that way. For accounting, you can work in a bank or for different firms but to really make some money you might want to be a licensed accountant. This can open doors with bigger accounting firms. Oh before i forget, one aspect of study that a lot of people do that people always get jobs for is social work. There are always people on drugs, there are always people homeless and there are always people who need some type of social services help. So job in that feild is almost garunteed. If you get masters in social work, your earning power also goes up.
