I was just wondering how it will sound if our native language can be interpreted in english the way we speak them.

For example;
Note:-
N.I:- normal interpretation
D.I:- direct interpretation

Yoruba: Iyo ja obe na
N.I- The soup is too salty
D.I- Salt cut the soup

Yoruba: Seun gbe igba ori oke
N.I- Seun took first position
D.I- Seun carried the calabash on top of mountain

Yoruba: Idaya gbe poo
N.I- Idaya took last position
D.I- Idaya carried feces pot

Yoruba: Oju ti mo
N.I- The day has break
D.I- The eyes has clear

Yoruba: Oju e ti ja
N.I- You see it now
D.I- Your eyes have cut it

N.I. - Do you swear?

N.I. - That's your gain
