Pls, can anyone help me to ascertain if d ICAN Syllabus for Intermediate exams has changed due to the conversion to IFRS so I can make up my mind if I shld continue with d previous study packs n Pathfinders or start lectures afresh @Wyse? Pls, ur response will be seriously appreciated.

U'll begin frm Intermediate since U hv ur HND in Accounting. U'd hv begun frm PE1 if U had a B.Sc in Accounting. So, U'll only have to pay 4 exemptions in Foundation courses only...

U'll begin frm Foundation but hv an exemption in Ecomomics. I also had my B.Sc in Economics n even had my MBA sef & I began frm Foundation..

There was never a time like that. Under the old syllabus that had PEIII, HND AND BSc Accounting Graduates started from PE II. check ICAN syllabus to confirm. Thanks. Except HND in another course or unacceditated schools.

Perhaps she has AAT which she got via her SSCE or ND. Adubam has answered you rightly.

I wish I had, but you can go to WYSE ASSOCIATE in Maryland Comprehensive High Sch. in Lag or any tutorial class to get a hard copy.

HND Bsc starts from Pe1 if ur school is recognised. But if ur institution is not ICAN accredited, u wil start from intermediat whether Bsc what ever or Hnd whatever.

I'm re writing FA and i was fortunate 2buy IFRS from 1st to d present 13th issued standard which cuts across 1st time Adoption through financial Instrument and Consolidated F/S down 2 Joint arrangement and off course d latest 13th std which is Fair Value judgement. I also bought IAS from 1 to 39. I have Model IFRS based comprehensive example of published Financial statements and many more all in soft copies.
