Guys, I no know how this parole wan be but I really need a solution to this stuff. I've got this LG U900 phone that has TV sent from the UK and I need to unlock it cos it keeps writing "insert USIM" . Any ideas and resources would really be appreciated please.

Which network do u wish to make use of with the phone?

I will advise you take the phone to the network provider and tell them the complain because Usim's are different from our regular sim cards that your phone is requesting for but any sim card should work with it na because i know a freind using Sanyo S750 and the phone also works with Usim

.but I know of some LGs which I've encounterd that display insert 'USIM' but still accept the normal sim, even NECs so .what if its a hardware problem? Check the sim on-board interface/connector

The phone aint faulty, it is a new phone. just that it is the one that comes with all this UK operator branding and all i need is just the flashing software or something or unlock code and things. Still chilling.

download the flash to flash firmware, run setup on your PC, and type the code 142358#*# it will unlock
