Light isn't alive. The sun etc. @atheist's answer may suffice actually. If you classify the sun as alive then virtually everything would be alive, no? Energy interacting with energy.

Well in that sense, the sun isn't alive. However, I like to use a broader definition of life. All energy is alive

I know that and I didn't infer that energy is conscious from the double slit experiment. I know there could be many explanations to the results. I really don't have any evidence to base my claim on but its just what I believe based on my paradigm. To explain it from the point of view of the physical senses would be futile but if you viewed the world from another dimension, everything feels alive even tables and chairs and so on. If you haven't experienced it, it wouldn't make sense to you anyway. Its just one of those things someone might go on to prove far down into the future and become Time's person of the century.
