So what?

The fact still remains: a man is a man, and a woman is a woman.
No matter how twisted the guy is, he remains the man. He was born to lead.

Anyway, what i see in the pic is a guy showing so much love and care for his darling wife who is likely to be sick or not trained to take up the responsibility of the wife grin grin

This guy deserves a commendation
Re: A Woman's Dream Hubby . . . by Nobody: 12:26pm On Feb 22, 2008
why do i suspect that madam is cooling her heels in front of the tv set whils the 'master of the house' toils away in the kitchen?

na wa o! the guy didn't even get to change before being drafted to kitchen duties!

@ oloriooko
Your type should be multiplied in milions with extra intelligent.

I see nothing wrong and will never see anything wrong in doing what he's doing cause this is a sign of fatherly love in a happy growing family.
should women do all things while we sit down in the sofa tired like who fought a lion. commanding this and that.
Our men has become so lazy that what they first up to do is demanding food from their slave wife.
It's only a poorman and those who can't reach see domestic works as a humiliation from their wife.

The man am seeing is a real man, dream man for marriage to women who cares. not like those who claimed that financial support is the only responsibility a man has to face in family.

shocked shocked shocked shocked

so what is wrong with the man simply telling his wife to take a seat while he helps out?

na wa for u sha. . . . . . . . . . .  so only when you're wife is likely to be sick or untrained will you enter kitchen, tie wrapper and wash plate??

@oyb

Same goes for you as well.

So its ok for the woman to enter kitchen with work clothes but its taboo for the man to do the same?

            I feel for your wife.

i feel for you. haven't you heard of division of labour?  i can understand the man washing the dishes , while madam tends to the baby. but doing both?

if it was a woman up there, yall would be up in arms about exploitation of women - and the selfish husband. but because its a man, its oh so sweet and romantic .

i hope the man will not feel 'used' when madam demands bedroom service. . .

a wife who enters kitchen direct without even changing out of her work clothes - is for want of a better word - oppressed. a husband who does the same is hen pecked. (what kind of spouse will not let the other change before embarking on chores)

imagine wearing tm lewin to wash plate - what about oil stains? your clothes must have a very short lifespan

MY friend I believe you're still in nigeria. Try a little to travel to western world and see if what you're seeing is listed in the bracket of humiliation. What are we Africans claiming to be? when we're nothing to compare to other successful men in western world who still embrace domestic work as a part of family life. If you feel too big in doing it why not hire a maid who you'll be paying to do all those things as men who claimed big do.
Re: A Woman's Dream Hubby . . . by Nobody: 1:36pm On Feb 22, 2008
thank you for informing us that you are abroad. it is so refreshing when been tos take their time to tell us neadertals back home  their tried and tested methods for taking care of their wives. tongue .

now if you could take some time to think. . .

if that was a picture of a woman, (with the thread titled a man's dream wife. . .) feminists would be up in arms complaining about how the wife is being taken advantage of. she just got in from work, she is washing dishes, the husband is probably slouuched in front of the tv watching football., and so on and so forth .

but because its a man, its suddenly sweet and caring. why the double standard? or are you subconciously subscribing to the traditional  relegation of a woman to the kitchen?

if your idea of being a dream husband is limited to the execution of household chores, then i feel for your wife. are you one of the burgeoning class of unsucuccessful men married to go getter wives known as househusbands?

Re: A Woman's Dream Hubby . . . by Nobody: 1:51pm On Feb 22, 2008
@ efuah , what would your comments have been if it were a woman in the picture?

i have stated before - i do household chores;

but something about that picture just makes me think of a hen pecked ( the husband equivalent of oppressed ) man.
Re: A Woman's Dream Hubby . . . by efuah(f): 2:04pm On Feb 22, 2008
Oby. . . yeah, i get your point now and understands perfectly.
It's not normal for the man to do two things at the same time. thus washing dishes n carrying the baby.  Until the wife is sick/dead/run away. . . not easy to comprehend.

And to your question, if it were a woman.
I don't think u will even argue.  You would have typed something like eerrr she's a woman now, that's her duty. grin  In our African villages u see a pregnant woman with another baby at her back carrying a basket full of yam whilst the husband carries his cutlass wt his shirt hanging on his shoulder, whistling and following his wife proudly.  How would u comment on that too?

Please you're making a grammatical riot  that at last you didn't come up with anything meaningful to make a sense to the point we're.
All what you're saying is just irrelevant.
Do you ask yourself this?  Is the wife sick, pregnant, at work or some where not the badside you think.
You alone should know the kind of wife that you have and give her the kind of treatment she deserves. Get me clear am not saying that you should  engage in domestic works while your wife go on jacking another man. what I mean is, if two of you knows each others way about there's no deal pulling out your wife's undies from her and get it washed. But when command is the case am also a stubborn nigeria who know also how to give iron hand to women.

at least we now know what our priorities are  wink wink

no one complained when women multitasked while their husbands drank gin and palmwine.

It's now a big issue that a man is taking on a woman's role.
