Do you Somalis drink curd milk aka spoiled milk, as is customary among most East Africans groups I've associated with? I've met and or known personally, several Kenyans, Ugandans, Ethiopians and a Tanzanian who I've witness and or have admitted to me upon my inquiring, that they drink or "spoon" curd milk aka spoiled milk. Back in high school I briefly dated this Kisii girl from Kenya, and I can remember her mother would buy a fresh half gallon of milk and leave it sitting out on the kitchen counter until it curd (spoiled) and then they would drink it like that, and use a spoon to eat the curd. I'd try my best not to show my utter displeasure at the site of them doing that, but damn I majorly grossed-out by the site of that. I was told that it's a common practice with most East Africans.

No we dont eat spoiled milk.

but americNs eat spoiled milk its called cheese

Somalis dont have any weird disgusting food.

we eat pasta, rice, chicken, fish, anjera, eggs (cooked), beans, veggies, beef.

We are a civilised peopke and we dont eat the private parts of animals or dead animals on the side of the road. Most somali restraunts i been to have many non somalis.

Even if u do online reviews of somali restraunts online most are done by non somalis

Our religion forbids many weird disgusting things.

Kenyans themselves are multi ethnic and some ethnicities do weird things.

But somali society is structured and everyone goes through some type of cultural indoctrination.

I've actually trying Somali food once before, at an Eid event a Muslim friend of mine once invited me to. In all honesty, some of it was ok, it had somewhat of an Indian type of flavoring to it, some other stuff they had looked nasty as hell, sort of had a light green snotty look and texture too it. cheesy

LOL. No lie Kid. I don't know the name of the green stuff, but I can describe it to you. Like I said, it looked snotty, and it had these little meat balls in it, that were kind of the size of sweetish meat balls (small). Shiat looked nasty as hell. cheesy
