please house, am interested in getting the Universal Cone airfilter, but i don't know if it is compatible with my vehicle[90-91 model honda prelude with a fuel injected b20a9 engine]

Immediately I installed the cone Airfilter in my 505 V6, the engine sound changed. That is, once i rev beyond 2,500 rpm, it will start sounding like a turbo engine, which is when my V6 power comes in. Below 2,500 rpm, the engine runs like normal I4, but above that, it turns the car into animal. So at that point, the filter gives the engine more hp due to the way it was designed (High flow of air). By the way, it also improves the fuel economy or increases mpg.

The instuction on the pack says: Clean every after 50k miles and re-use.

You need to know the size of your intake tube, to know which size to purchase. My MAF opening is 3". But i decided to buy one with 4", but comes with 3", 3.5"& 4"adapter, so that it can be used in any car, other than my 505 V6.

Like i earlier noted, we also have K&N cone air filter. Google it and find out more about it.

Compactibilty is not an issue. Thats why its called Universal air filter. But you need to find out which size that will fit your MAF, AFM or intake tube.

One thing to note, EFI engines are meant to run with cooler air, hence, the conventional airbox. The IAT (Intake Air temperature sensor)or MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) uses the temperature of the air going into the throttle body to the combustion chambers via airbox, to determine the amount of fuel the ECU commands the injectors to spray from the signals they send to the ECU. So, it will be ideal to place the Cone airfilter where it can be getting cooler air, rather than the hot one from the engine. Meaning, you may need an extension tube to extend it far away from the engine. But that depends the set up of your airbox or intake tube setup. Not every car will need an additional tube to install the cone filter.

If possible, it can be installed right inside the airbox, if you are that techie. But do know that it will work wherever you place it, the filter (whether on the hot spot or cooler spot). Its just for better performance, i think.

Please do you know what shipping service he used? How long did it take and was it doorstep delivery? I have some things pending in the US but the shipping costs I've seen are outrageous

The US National Post office, just like our NIPOST. It takes about 10-14 days for the parcels to be delivered at my doorstep, cheaper than you could imagine.

The cost of shipping the cone filter to me was $20.
