A man is recuperating after sustaining serious burns for allegedlystealing a packet of condoms. According to observers, a group of 3 men followed Joseph Lemaria to a local bar demanding that he pays for the stolen goods. While speaking to the police, Lemarianarrated the ordeal saying he did nothave anything to do with the theft. Itis said that the men poured small amounts of petrol on him and wanted to burn him. He sustained stomach, chest and hand burns. The matter is still under investigations with the police calling upon the public to forward the names of offenders rather than taking the law into their hands.
