The Acting Governor of Adamawa State, Mr. James Barka has dissolved the State Executive Council, Caretaker Committee of the twenty-one Local Governments, Sole Administrators of development areas.

Also affected are Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants.

In his maiden broadcast to the people, Mr. Barka directed Commissioners to hand over to Permanent Secretaries while Chairmen are to do the same to Heads of Service of their Councils.

He warned the people of the State against taking laws into their hands as law enforcement agents would deal with any disorder.

news out of Yola this evening is that the cabinet and SAs and so on have been restored apart from those VERY close to the governor.

Two months you say? My dear history is much more important than the months or even days as he will afterwards join the ranks of ex-governors

u do have a point but it makes me laugh that Nyako decided not to move to the govt house yet this guy, i'm sure it was a 40 days 40 nights prayer marathon that Nyako be removed just so he could have his moments
