recently, i've been having issues with my spouse and he keeps saying he doesnt want to tlk about it. i believe we r in it together and we should be able to face it instead of running away from it. now the question is, do i respect his wish or make him see reasons why we need to tlk about it

Give him a little space. before you will turn out to be a nagging spouse in his eyes. Let him to be the one to initiate this sticky issues.

Oooo, I back off easily. But let him know you are ready to talk when he is. Or some indication that you can't drop the matter. Just give him space to work it out and he'll usually meet you in the middle if he is a good man.

it depends on what you are talking about. If you are talking about something that would affect your family then i would tell him that i am backing off for now but we will talk about this again . if it is something trivial like you both had an argument and you want closure and he is not trying to revisit the issue because you both made up, then just drop it.
