I suggest we pick the book we need to read as soon as possible. However, the choice of book, just like we discussed in the original thread, should be a popular one, and perhaps, easily downloadable.

C'mon guys, don't tell me you don't read popular foreign books!

For Thrillers, we have Dan Brown, Robert Ludlum, Mario Puzo, Jeffrey Archer, James Patterson,James Clavell, Ken Follet, Sidney Sheldon, Irvin Wallace, John Grisham, Tom Clancy, etc.

For Horror and Supernatural, there are Ann Rice, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, etc.

For Detective Mystery, there are Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, P.D. James, G.K. Chesterton, Colin Dexter, P.G. Wodehouse, etc.

For Romance, there are numerous...Danielle Steel, Nora Roberts, Johanna Lindsey, Margaret Mitchell, Alexandra Ripley, Mary Higgins Clarke, Barbara Cartland, etc.

We have an abundance of books from which we can select.

Okay, for a start, I'd suggest Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. It's one book that I think really needs discussing...for the moment.

i would like to go with this suggestion. The more time we spend ,aking suggestions the more time wasted. I suggest the captain make a move and choose a book. If u a lucky to have read it, fine. If not, it would be an opportunity for whoever to get updated. He had said Dan Brown, Davinci Code. Good book, only for mature readers. Lets get started.

it is obvious that u a Grisham person. Or u are a lawyer, but there are other books that will blow ur mind. I suggest u read QBIIV by Leon Uris.
