Tony Spike:

Nigerians have become very lazy in terms of depth of intellectual research and scholarship. They would rather feed on rumours, superstitions and gossips, and not factual evidence from sound research. I'm afraid that with the level of ignorance on this thread, the country is doomed. This is the most perverted level of shallow and myopic thinking I've ever seen in my life. Save for the contributions of Yewe (my bro from Ghana), Obadiah, Shymexx, imprida, naijababe and some few others - most of the comments here are so puerile and ignorant. My advice to y'all, when next you see a topic like this, do your own background research before coming here to type utter nonsense on a topic you have no knowledge about. Enough said!!!
Please exclude Obadiah from your list. When the severe inadequacies of his arguments are pointed out he remains adamant.

obadiah777: BRUV, CARBON DATING IS JUNK SCIENCE. AND FOR HOW AFRICANS TRAVELLED FROM THE NORTHEAST AFRICA REGION TO THE AMERICAS, YOU NEED A BOOK CALLED THE APOCRYPHA. THE BOOK OF SECOND ESDRAS. IT EXPLAINS IT. THIS HAPPENED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ASSYRIAN SLAVERY. THE NEGROS ( ISRAELITES ) WERE GETTING ENSLAVED BY EVERYONE IN THE REGION. FIRST THE BABYLONIANS ( MODERN DAY ETHIOPIANS ) THEN THE EGYPTIANS THEN THE ASSYRIANS. AND THE NEGROS HAD TWO KINGDOMS. ONE WAS THE NORTHERN KINGDOM OR HOUSE OF EPHRAIM AND THE OTHER WAS THE SOUTHERN KINGDOM OR THE HOUSE OF JUDAH. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ASSYRIAN SLAVERY THE NORTHERN KINGDOM DECIDED THEY HAD HAD ENOUGH OF THAT REGION BECAUSE THE HEATHENS WERE MAKING IT OPPRESSIVE. SO THEY ALL TRAVELLED FROM THE MIDDLE EAST TO THE AMERICAS. IT TOOK THEM A YEAR AND A HALF TO GET THERE. AND THEN WHEN THEY GOT THERE THEY SETTLED AND FORMED COMMUNITIES AND THEN THE CHINESE STARTED APPEARING THROUGH THE BERRING STRAIT AND THEY MINGLED AND BECAME THE SAME PEOPLE WHICH WE NOW KNOW AS THE NATIVE AMERICANS. THIS HAPPENED 800 BC. SO THEY WERE THERE A GOOD 2500 YEARS BEFORE COLUMBUS APPEARED. I BELIEVE I SAID 800 IN ANOTHER POST. THAT WAS AN OVERSIGHT. YOU HAVE TO ADD THE 800 BC TO THE 1600 AD OF COLUMBUS. SO THEY WERE THERE FOR 2500 YEARS BEFORE THE WHITE MAN ARRIVED.
If the Israelites were Negro what then about all the sons of shem? Can you tell us how the people of Israel would have all crossed the bering strait?

obadiah777: AFRICA IS A ROMAN GENERALS NAME WHO CONQUERED AFRICA. LEO SCIPIO AFRICANUS. WE ARE NOT AFRICANS. WE DO NOT DESCEND FROM THE ROMAN GENERAL LEO SCIPIO AFRICANUS. BUT I GUESS WE ARE STUCK WITH THE NAME NOW LOLZ
You don't say! A roman general actually "CONQUERED AFRICA", the whole continent. smh

Interesting Article. I think the woman could be an alien hybrid, same with Mr Solomon. "she traveled on the back of an eagle" wow that sounds like a spacecraft! "Christians and Muslims go there to worship at her grave sight yearly" same thing they do today(mind control)

The bible gods were aliens from another world. They have been visiting and inter-breeding with man. All cultures across the planet earth have alien visitation stories. Bilikisu Sungbo is a typical example. Has anyone visited the Oshun Oshogbo groove shrine? Those images reminds me of aliens.

All religion are a form of mind control. No need to debate whose alien god is superior, they are all the same!

Don't forget. Eri is igbo(Hebrew). And migrated to southeastern Nigeria with his younger brothers Arodi(arochukwu) & Areli(owerri). Egba people and probably ijebu people(not sure) are decendants of igbo(Hebrew). Egba people original language isn't Yoruba it's Igbo. They began speaking Yoruba after getting conquered by the Yoruba queen from oyo state name Remi. Till today, Yorubas hv a festival every year celebrating the defeat of the Egbas.

toba:
This debate came up in church early this morning and some congregants who have visited the site where she was allegedly buried attested to this. she's described as Queen of Sheba

A Google search says this 'In the tenth century, the Queen of Sheba ruled over an ancient kingdom along the Red Sea, known as Abyssinia. It is found today in modern Ethiopia or Yemen. Archeologists have been digging in the Nigerian rainforest at Eredo, near what may have been her gravesite'

A further search gave me a result of a 2010 publication in the Vanguard News paper
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/06/birikisu-sungbo-king-solomons-african-queen/

Seriously, i don't know what to say or believe, but im sure some Nigerians especially those from Ogun state might have heard about the story, since the shrine is still in Ijebu Ogun state

Or do u mean that one of Solomon's wives comes from northern Sudan Cuz yoruba people migrated from sudan
