1. Does UI accept 2 sitting?
YES

2. Does UI accept awaiting result?
YES, but your awaiting result must be out before the deadline to given by the school after post UTME registration.

3. Is UI post UTME oral or written?
It was formerly oral, but since two years back its has been written, with 25 questions each from your Jamb combination, making total of 100 questions.

4. What is the purpose of UI post UTME?
It is to test the ability of student in their relevant field of study, and the performance will determine your chances of been given admission.

5. How do I know my UTME combination for my course?

Check your jamb brochure, or check the school website for the requirement of your course.

6. When is Direct Entry form out?

It always out after the post UTME registration for Jambite.

7. I want to do change of course?
If you have already registered for jamb, change of course can only be done after the release of your jamb result, its attract a token.

8. How much is UI Acceptance/School fees?
UI acceptance fee in recent time is 10k, while the school fees too in recent time is between 18-21k (excluding accommodation) depending on your department

9. How do i calculate my cut off mark?
Calculating your cutoff mark, depends on which method UI is going to use in this year admission process, In the last admission i.e 2012/2013 UI use only Jamb result (with O’level for some candidate) cutoff for this can be found in my recent post, while in the year before i.e 2011/2012 UI uses O’level result with Jamb score, O’level result represent 60% while Jamb score represent 40%(divide your Jamb score by 10).

10. How do i Calculate my O’level result?

You will add up your 5 subject in your o'level that are related to your course i.e (A1=6,B2=5,B3=4,C4=3,C5=2,C6=1),then multiply by 2
Examplesadmath A1=6,english B2=5,econ B2=5,govt C6=1,literature B3=4)
Total=21*2=42.

11. What is the CUTOFF mark for my course?
Kindly note that the cutoff below is for 2011/2012 admission exercise for different departments

Note 1: Kindly note that the above cutoff is for 2011/2012 admission which was based on jamb/o’level result method, also consideration of candidates to fill-up the Locality and ELDS criteria of JAMB is done by selecting a candidate from each state of the Federation with the highest scores (for locality) and same is done for ELDS (Educationally Less Developed States).
NOTE 2: CUTTOFF FOR LAST YEAR ADMISSION WHICH WAS BASED ON JAMB HAS BEEN UPDATED BY ME EARLIER, SO CHECK MY PREVIOUS POST.

11. When will UI post utme start?
It will start few months after Jamb releases result.

12. How is UI method for short listing going to be this year?
