It doesn't matter how it sounds. What counts is the source. Either it's rabarababa o or borororo . cool so far as its from the depth within. So it's not in the sound but in the power activated

and when its from the spirit of God the difference is very clear. Except if you havent experienced it.
All these ones you people speak now sounds more like ritualists incantations. And its almost the same incantation from brother A to sister B to pastor C. The language of the spirit is clear, distinct and sweet. it comes with humility. its not used for showmanship like the way the so called speaking in tongues is being displayed in most churches, gospel music album and sermons.

You obviously don't know what it means to speak in tongues or be spirit filled. You are a typical example of everything that is wrong with christianity in Nigeria today.

Please brethren, I have heard it being said that some Pastors teach their followers confusing syllables calling it 'tongues'. Is it real? If a pastor were to do so, then the members should leave the place, cos it's anti-scriptural.
By the way, the case of the Corinthian church was like someone mounting the pulpit to lead the opening prayer. Instead of saying "let's begin to appreciate the name of the Lord ...", what you hear is their own form of 'speaking in the spirit'- nonsense of the highest order. It looks like it can't happen but my friend said they do it in one popular church like that. May God give them understanding (Amen).
Besides, praying in tongues is good (but for the person praying himself). For the unknown language to benefit the whole congregation, it must be interpreted. In CAC churches, this use to happen very well with the speaker giving the message and she interpreting it or the pastor in charge do it. Mostly when this occurs, it is during intense prayer in the congregation and not just someone come up with being inspired by one spirit, attributing it to the Holy Ghost.
I remembered a story someone shared with me one day. He said the person was just speaking and as God would catch him, he was interpreting it. Before he could say anything, he came up with this 'I am the Lord that fights silently like the devil ...' The pastor didn't let him finish before he cut him off and silenced him. What if it had not been interpreted for the whole congregation to hear what was being said and they now start shouting 'Amen'? I am sure they would have been cursed beyond measure.
He who cannot interpret his unknown language in a public gathering should keep his tongue to himself. Final!!!

I went there to read an article when I got to know about them. I will return to this article after I go through their article. Shalom sister.

remember what the bible says.

1Co 2:14
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:for they are foolishness unto him:neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So how does your own tongue sound ,
Re: Carnality Of The "Corinthians" Churches - Abuse Of Speaking In Tongues. by Joagbaje(m): 11:52am On Feb 14, 2013
There is tongue of men which is human language and there's tongues if angels which is not human language .

1 Corinthians 13:1
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

The tongues of men is a manifestation of diversity of tongues. Which is a supernatural ability to speak an earthly language you haven't learned. But when you pray In tongues of angels it's a spiritual communication to God. In the realm of the spirit. It doesn't have to be mans language. . It doesn't matter how it sounds , it can even come as a groan ! Deep sigh.

Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

God is hardly a showman. There's hardly value speaking Spanish in Lagos. But when you go out to evangelise unfamiliar terrians and languages, you're more likely to experience such gifts. Like an Hausa man on mission field in GuineaBissau and praying in tongues may be used to communicate a convicting message to locals in their dialect .
