This is Dormitory 9 of the Nigerian Police College, Ikeja and according to the students, it is called the Constable's Mess (a real messed up place indeed). It is home to 48 recruits. Alongside Dormitory 10 (with 59 recruits). That's 107 recruits in both dormitories and they share four toilets (there is a total of 8 toilets but only four are working, see pictures).

Inside, the smell is murderous, and the reporter has to cover his nose so as not to die an untimely death...lol! (Ok, just kidding there, abi?) The showers are not working and the drainage system has packed up a long time ago. Stagnant water everywhere (I was thinking of malaria and all forms of water-borne diseases when I saw that) Recruits have to carry buckets of water on their own when going to take their bath (bathing in such a place is HELL!).

We are hoping that by the time we post the next pictures of this college, what we will be seeing are brand-new images of a world-class police academy. As for this one, words cannot even begin to describe it!

The camp (Fika Desert school) is still the same story in 2009.
