F.K.O: I also use the HTC T-mobile G2 powered by Google... Check the XDAndroid forum at www.xdandroid.com .. but mine is already running Gingerbread, how come you just want to upgrade to Gingerbread  |

F.K.O: Froyo is Android 2.2 while Android 2.3.3 is Gingerbread but it remains one upgrade to Android 2.3.4 which is also Gingerbread, I use the 2.3.4 version of gingerbread... |

F.K.O: The HTC G2 is a 4G smartphone so it is designed to only use either the 4G network access or 2G... You can choose btw 4G and 2G but you cant switch to 3G on it... F.K.O: To minimise the MB your phone use, Goto SETTINGS > WIRELESS AND NETWORKS and look for the option that says 'use 2G network' then mark it... your phone will now use 2G and it will save your data usage without being slow... You can also unmark the DATA ROAMING option.. it will surely reduce your MB usage. |

F.K.O: I dont know of any application that says the callers name but you can search the google playstore but i use SPB Screenshot for taking screenshots... |

What network are you on? Usually, networks will automatically push intrrnet settings to your phone. Android phones will always indicate what you are connected to. G, E, 3G, H, 4G. I hope this helps! |

I only use MTN on my Android so i cant say much about others |
